Welcome back to school.  I hope everyone had a great summer!  Time to get back to work. 

I had a wonderful summer.  I babysat our African dwarf frogs (Slimy and Jumper) all summer.  My girls at home didn't want them to return.  I read lots of great books.  I have been concentrating on reading all of the past Newbery Award and Honor books. 

There will be lots of great things happening in the library this year.  We will be studying lots of great authors and illustrators.  We will play some games to review some things we learn and to help you remember some of the books we read together. 

We will have a book fair the week of September 13-17 and a special lunch and visit for Grandparent's Day.  We will be using the same book vendor that we used last year, Crane Book Sales.  They offered us lower prices last year along with some different items that we had not seen before.  Hopefully from funds that we make from the book fair we will be able to purchase some new books as well as new AR tests.
